About Me
Welcome to HCL Nutrition!
I have been in nutrition for nearly a decade and I am really passionate about making evidence based nutrition accessible to everyone.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a first class honours degree in Physiology and a Masters degree with Distinction in Human Nutrition. In addition to this I completed a 3 year specialism in public health via the Association for Nutrition in order to transfer to the title ‘Registered Nutritionist’. As part of my registration I am required to demonstrate 30 hours of CPD each year and am subject to an audit process to ensure evidence based practice.
I have done a wide range of additional training including Nutrition and Menopause, Intuitive and Mindful Eating Practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Challenging Ideas in Mental Health, Community Led Health and Health Issues in the Community.
I have experience working on local government policy, national policy, nutrition analysis, meal plans, 1-1 consultations, staff wellbeing, project management of health improvement campaigns, writing, staff training and nutrition education.
What I Do?
I started HCL Nutrition with a vision of partnering with corporate companies, third sector organisations and education settings to make evidence based nutrition more accessible. There has never been a more important time to take collective responsibility for health and wellbeing, and nutrition sits at the core of this. I deliver talks, workshops and staff training on a wide variety of topics. In addition to this I offer a consultancy service and 1-1 work. I promote positive nutrition, which is built
on inclusion and individuality as opposed to restriction.
